Free well water instead of expensive tap water
Without water there is no life - therefore water is a valuable raw material. And if you are in the lucky position of having a well or water shaft on your property, you should also use the water it contains for irrigation purposes or for certain points of consumption in the house. This is not only much cheaper than the water from the local utility company, but also protects the environment. With the help of the TDP 370 E stainless steel deep well pump, inexpensive service water pumping becomes child's play: thanks to its powerful pumping capacity of 370 watts and a maximum immersion depth of 20 meters, it pumps up to 5,100 liters of water per hour from a depth of up to 40 meters (max. delivery head) from wells, water reservoirs, cisterns or drainage shafts.
By the way: As the name suggests, deep well pumps are built for pumping water from great depths. Trotec offers you various deep well pumps for delivery heads between 40 m and 93 m.
Using existing natural resources
Whether for the cost-effective irrigation of the kitchen garden in the summer months, for operating lawn sprinklers and sprinkler systems or for watering flower beds and potted plants - the possible uses of self-supplied service water are very versatile. A stainless steel strainer in the TDP 370 E deep well pump filters out any suspended and solid particles in the water, so that the pumped clear water can also be used without any problems for cleaning purposes or as a supplement to the existing domestic water supply, for example for the washing machine or as flushing water for the toilet.
Drinking water is a precious commodity
If you turn on the tap in the kitchen or bathroom, you will get fresh drinking water immediately. But did you also know that many steps are necessary to treat drinking water? Suspended and turbid matter must be removed, the water must be chemically cleaned and sterilised, iron and manganese must be filtered out, the degree of hardness must be reduced or increased, desalination must take place, samples must be taken and analyses carried out, and so on. For human consumption, this expensive and labour-intensive effort is certainly justified; after all, health is at stake, but none of this is necessary for flushing toilets or watering gardens. Free well water is certainly the better alternative for these purposes - also for the wallet and the environment!
The deep well pumps from Trotec are specially designed and highly efficient submersible pressure pumps that can be used in very narrow drilled wells, from a diameter of 12.5 centimeters upwards, thanks to their special design and high-quality technology. For the problem-free pumping of water from greater depths, the standard equipment includes a 23 metre long connection cable and suspension eyes for lowering the pumps into wells, cisterns, drainage shafts or similar recesses. Like all submersible pressure pumps, deep well pumps are also suitable for mobile use at changing locations or for fixed installation.
Savings tip:
Self-produced water saves money in the long term. The costs for a well in the garden (if it is not already there) are amortized within a few years, depending on the intensity of use. Specialised well builders will help you with the planning and construction of your garden well!
Very practical, even with Plug & Play solution
The 23 meter long submarine cable reliably supplies the extremely compact pump with electrical power and it is thus installed plug & play for immediate use. In addition, the pump housing of the TDP 370 E has two suspension eyes on the head side for easy lowering into the water to be pumped. The spacer foot, which can be attached as an option, allows the deep well pump to be inserted down to the bottom of the predrilled well, such as a drainage shaft or well. In this case, however, the bottom of the well must be clean and free of contamination.
Modern technology top workmanship
The TDP 370 E is made of high-quality materials for a long service life. The robust pressure connection with brass insert and the stable stainless steel housing protect the maintenance-free copper motor during its permanent underwater use in the frost-free period. The deep well pump is equipped with a stainless steel strainer to protect against contamination from a particle size of 1.8 mm (assuming a solids content of 0.15% in a ton of water) and a thermal protection circuit to protect against overheating. A reliable valve ensures that the water flows back more slowly. This prevents the water that has already been pumped from remaining in the suction line and freezing in the line in winter.
Narrow housing, strong performance
With a maximum delivery head of 40 meters, an immersion depth of up to 20 meters and a powerful pressure of max. 3.7 bar, the pump is perfectly suited for clear water extraction from great depths. Thanks to its compact and slim design, the TDP 370 E can even be used in narrow boreholes from a diameter of 125 mm.
Focus on quality and safety
Naturally, extreme caution is required when combining electronics and water. For this reason, the TDP 370 E is watertight encapsulated according to the latest standards and protection class IPX8 and is suitable for permanent use below the surface of water. With the TDP 370 E you play it safe. The operational safety of the pump has been tested by the TÜV Rheinland test center. For smooth operation, the deep well pump must be completely immersed in the pumped medium. However, a minimum distance of 50 cm to the ground should be ensured to protect the pump from possible deposits on the water's bottom.
