The ideal dehumidifier solution for large living and office spaces
Reliable dry storage
The TTK 72 E is unobtrusive from the outside, but nevertheless has enormous power reserves. With up to 24 litres in 24 hours, it is the ideal partner when it comes to reliably keeping living and office spaces up to around 50 m² dry. To this end, the unit uses an integrated LED light to indicate the current status of the room in terms of humidity.
With the aid of the coloured LED signals of the TTK 72 E, it is immediately clear what the humidity situation in the room is: depending on whether the room humidity is below or above 55 %, either a blue, a green or a red LED lights up on the front of the unit.
In addition to automatic operation with a preset humidity of 55 %, the comfortable control panel with digital display also allows the selection of the hygrostat-controlled automatic dehumidification with target value selection between 30 and 80 % RH in 5 % steps, permanent operation and the ventilation function.
The equipment profile of the TTK 72 E naturally includes the high standards of the HomeComfort series. These include, for example, the practical laundry drying and timer function, a level warning light when the water tank is full and the overfill protection with auto switch-off. This functional diversity is rounded off by the integrated, washable air filter, which enables additional air purification by extracting dust or pet hair, and the drainage connection, which allows unattended continuous operation.
Gentle laundry drying with air dehumidifiers
In addition to room air dehumidification, an air dehumidifier can also be conveniently used for drying laundry - either as a support or as a complete replacement for a conventional tumble dryer. The laundry drying function (or textile drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional air drying outdoors.
Dehumidifiers offer the advantage that the laundry is dried gently as in nature. Colours remain vibrant and clothes have a longer life than with conventional tumble dryers and this with significantly less power consumption.
In addition, sensitive materials such as wool, silk or synthetic fibres can be dried without hesitation. In contrast to pure air-drying, the laundry is much softer and more pleasant to wear on the skin.
Laundry drying is also possible with air dehumidifiers without a clothes drying function. The target value of the air humidity must then be set according to the desired residual moisture:
Cabinet dry: 46 % relative humidity
Ironing humidity: 58 % relative humidity
Dried: 65 % relative humidity
Propane (R290) as environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers
Every year, synthetic refrigerants release several million tonnes of environmentally harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) into the air. Therefore the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. By using propane (R290) as refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to climate protection.
The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound and is a hydrocarbon. In contrast to synthetic refrigerants, environmentally friendly propane (R290) has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).
Additional plus for the environment: Due to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant and thus additionally reduces your energy costs.
Advantages for the practice:
The BL30 is an ultra-compact climate data logger designed for measuring and recording air temperature and relative humidity. The BL30 climate data logger can be used to collect up to 32,000 measuring values in intervals and cycles selected by you.
And so that you don’t waste precious time before you start carrying out the measurements there is also a wall mount and a lockable case included in the scope of delivery. And because the BL30 can only be configured via a PC, the configuration cannot be tampered with or manipulated at the point where the device is located.
