TTK 53 E Dehumidifier + BZ05 Indoor Thermohygrometer
This money-saving package consists of the TTK 53 E dehumidifier with a maximum dehumidification capacity of 16 litres per day and the BZ05 room thermohygrometer.

FUNCTIONALITY AND COMFORT IN ONE DEVICE
The TTK 53 E has all the equipment functions that characterise a modern comfort dehumidifier. But the dehumidifier also has another interesting extra function: with its coloured LED lighting on the front panel, the device indicates at first glance whether everything is in the green zone for the room air humidity.
Thanks to its functional design, the TTK 53 E adapts flexibly to any style of furnishing and, with 2 fan speeds and a dehumidification capacity of up to 16 litres per day, reliably keeps heated rooms up to 31 m² dry. The following dehumidification modes are available on the easy-to-maintain control panel including digital display: automatic mode with a preset humidity of 55 %, hygrostat-controlled automatic dehumidification with target value selection between 30 and 80 % RH in 5 % steps, permanent mode and ventilation function. Among other things, the display shows you the current relative humidity in the room.
The wide range of features of the TTK 53 E is completed by the practical laundry drying and timer function, a level warning light when the water tank is full and the overfill protection with auto switch-off. The integrated memory function ensures that the set humidity value and operating mode remain stored even after switching off. The integrated, washable air filter enables additional air cleaning by removing dust or animal hair and the drainage connection allows unattended continuous operation.

The strength of the automatic operation is particularly evident in the interaction with the coloured LED lights. It switches the device on automatically when the humidity exceeds the 55% mark and switches it off as soon as the humidity falls below this mark again. But it only takes one look at the TTK 53 E to know what the humidity in the room is like.
* A blue LED on its front panel lights up when the indoor humidity drops below 55%.
* Green indicates that the humidity is in the optimum range between 55-70%.
* Red indicates that the room air humidity is rising above 70 %.
GENTLE LAUNDRY DRYING WITH DEHUMIDIFIERS
In addition to room air dehumidification, an air dehumidifier can also be conveniently used for drying laundry - either as a support or as a complete replacement for a conventional tumble dryer. The laundry drying function (or textile drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional outdoor air drying.
Air dehumidifiers offer the advantage that the laundry is dried gently as in nature. Colours remain bright and clothes have a longer life than with conventional tumble dryers and this with significantly less power consumption.
In addition, sensitive materials such as wool, silk or synthetic fibres can also be dried without hesitation. In contrast to pure air-drying, the laundry is much softer and more pleasant to wear on the skin.
Laundry can also be dried with air dehumidifiers without a clothes drying function. The target value of the air humidity must then be set according to the desired residual moisture:
Cabinet drying: 46 % relative humidity
Ironing humidity: 58 % relative humidity
Dried: 65 % relative humidity
Propane (R290) as environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers
Every year, synthetic refrigerants release several million tonnes of environmentally harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) into the air. Therefore the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. By using propane (R290) as refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to climate protection.
The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound and is a hydrocarbon. In contrast to synthetic refrigerants, environmentally friendly propane (R290) has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).
Additional plus for the environment: Due to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant and thus additionally reduces your energy costs.

Simultaneous display of room temperature, humidity and time or date.An optimal indoor climate is the fundamental prerequisite for the well-being and also the health of the occupants. The two decisive factors for a "feel-good environment" - room temperature and relative humidity - are displayed by the BZ05 thermohygrometer along with the time or date on the easily readable LCD display in large digits. Furthermore, recorded minimum and maximum measured values can be called up on the BZ05.The integrated well-being indicator is very practical: it shows clearly whether the indoor climate values are within an optimal, acceptable or critical corridor for humans.The timeless elegant design, as well as the option for table or wall mounting and a built-in alarm function, make the BZ05 a multifunctional thermohygrometer suitable for use not only in living rooms, bedrooms but also in workrooms, conservatories or hobby cellars.The comfort diagram displays the feel-good climate rangeAs shown in the comfort diagram (according to Leusden and Freymark), we feel most comfortable within a climate corridor of 20 to 22 °C at 40 to 60 % relative humidity.Climate conditions outside these values are perceived as unpleasant by most people. In addition, excessive humidity can cause a wide range of problems. The first noticeable alarm signs are usually soggy clothes, musty smells and stained walls (mould stains) or sprouting potatoes in basement rooms. Did you know, for instance, that mould forms at humidity levels as low as 70 % - and rust at 60 %?
