With a timer, operating hours counter and application-specific preselection options for three ventilation and five intensity levels, the AirgoPro®8 has all the features you would expect from a professional odor neutralizer. Nevertheless, the device is pleasantly light, extremely compact and very robustly constructed from the controller to the housing - the best prerequisites for frequent changes of user and place of use, for example in material-consuming rental applications.
Effective functional principle for odor neutralization
Odor neutralizers of the AirgoPro® series are plasma field ionizers whose operating principle based on dielectric barrier discharges is comparable to that of ozone generators, but with a lower energy input.
In the device, the air passing through is subjected to an electrical glow discharge (ionization), whereupon fission products are generated as reactive oxygen species only within the stationary plasma: Singlet oxygen and its modifications as well as atomic oxygen as free radical, among other things also here leading product for ozone generation.
These free oxygen radicals are characterized by a high oxidation potential, which is why the odorous particles, pollutants, bacteria and microorganisms such as molds present in the aspirated air are subjected to oxidative degradation in the process, which is further supported by the presence of hydroxyl radicals. Plasma field ionizers allow the presence of people when operated in ventilated rooms and at a distance of approx. 2 m from the ion source.
