IDS 45 Oil Fired Indirect Heater
The oil heater IDS 45 is 100 % made in Europe and characterizes itself besides a heating capacity of 52.5 kW through many advantages in practice. It is enspecially suitable for heating storages, workshops, construction sites, green houses and cattle sheds.
Professional oil heater fan IDS 45 for clean heat on site
This chimney oil heater is suitable for quick, uncomplicated heating of storage rooms, workshops, construction sites, greenhouses or cattle sheds. Thanks to the integrated oil burner with Danfoss® pump, it works economically and effectively for every heating application. And the robustly designed chassis design enables a quick change of location by just one person.
With the oil heater fan made in Europe, safety comes first. The housing is double-walled and coated with a protective coating, thus ensuring optimal sound insulation and at the same time minimizing the surface temperature of the outer shell and thus the risk of injury for the user. In addition, the IDS 45 is equipped with an electronic flame arrester, safety thermostat to protect against overheating, fully automatic after-cooling and a high-temperature-resistant heat exchanger.
For long periods of heating use, an external oil tank can be connected to the heater in addition to the integrated fuel tank. Of course, a hose connector and thus an air hose with a length of 7.6 meters can also be fitted to this model, as well as a two-way hose distributor for connecting two hoses.
The IDS 45 is an absolutely reliable oil heater fan, requires minimal maintenance and will keep you healthy through the winter, even when working in cold workplaces. With an air volume of 2,500 m³/h, it has a nominal heat output of 52.5 kW.
IDS indirect oil heater fan - maximum heating power, clean warmth
The indirect oil heater fans of the IDS series are ideal for rooms where only limited ventilation is possible, but which should nevertheless be used by people and animals. They are also a good choice for accelerating the drying of buildings and in rooms where there is a risk of fire due to the presence of combustible materials.
In principle, the combustion process is the same as that of the IDS direct oil heater fan: The fuel is sucked out of the tank by a pump, brought to operating pressure, then sprayed into the combustion chamber as an air-fuel mixture via an atomizer nozzle and burned there. However, with indirect heaters, the air to be heated is completely separated from the combustion chamber.
In the case of indirect oil heater fans, the air intended for heating is sucked in by the same fan as is the combustion air, but is then routed separately past the enlarged surface of the combustion chamber, the heat exchanger, in order to be able to heat up without being mixed with the exhaust air . While the products of combustion are discharged to the outside through a chimney, 100% exhaust-free hot air escapes through the outlet opening of the indirect oil heater fan.

In order to gain clean and at the same time dry heat, the use of indirect oil heater fans is recommended. In contrast to direct heaters, neither combustion products nor released water vapor get into the room air, as long as a suitable exhaust gas discharge has been attached to the chimney of the device, which directs the exhaust gases outside of the room to be heated.
The IDS 45 offers a wide range of possible uses
The combination of mobile chassis design, integrated fuel tank and a maximum nominal heat output of 52.5 kW makes the indirect oil heater fan IDS 45 a versatile heating solution for a wide variety of applications, for example:
- Warming of workshops
- Heating of livestock stalls
- Temperature control of storage rooms
- Heating of construction site interiors
- Clean hot air for marquees or exhibition halls
- Warming of glass or foil greenhouses
For interior heating, the exhaust air from the oil heater can be removed from the room by attaching an exhaust pipe to the stainless steel chimney of the IDS 45 and leading it to the outside.
Instead of large-volume air heating, the IDS 45 oil fan heater also enables spot heating using a hot-air hose. The hose connector required for attachment is available as an optional accessory if required - also as a two-way hose distributor for simultaneous spot heating of two workstations. And for longer periods of continuous use, the IDS 45 can also be supplied with fuel from an external oil tank instead of from the integrated tank. The connection kit required for this is available as an optional accessory, as is an optional oil preheater.
