This cost-saving package consists of the TTK 30 E dehumidifier with a maximum dehumidification capacity of 12 litres per day and the BZ05 room thermohygrometer.
Discreet and simple with an interesting range of features
Behind its deliberately discreet exterior, the TTK 30 E conceals innovative technology at its best. Because the comfort dehumidifier has an additional function in a class of its own: its colored LED lighting signals the status of the current room humidity! This innovative highlight is located just above the air inlet grille on the front of the device. Here, a total of three LED colors inform whether the room humidity is optimal, very high or very low.
In addition, the TTK 30 E is equipped with a whole host of other features from the comfort series. These include, for example, the laundry drying and timer functions. A child lock protects against unintentional changes to settings once they have been selected. In addition, the dehumidifier has a two-stage fan that regulates automatically depending on the function, an overfill protection with auto shut-off and a level warning light when the water tank is full.
This equipment variety is completed by a drainage connection for unattended continuous operation as well as by the integrated, washable air filter - for additional air purification by extracting dust or pet hair.
The color LED indicates whether the humidity is still in the green range.
The strength of the automatic mode is particularly evident in the interaction with the colored LED lights. It switches the device on automatically when the humidity exceeds the 55% mark, and off as soon as this mark is fallen below again. But all it takes is a glance at the TTK 30 E to know what the humidity level in the room is.
- On its front panel, a blue LED lights up when the room humidity drops below 55%.
- Green indicates that the humidity is in the optimal range between 55-70%.
- Red indicates an increase in room humidity above 70 %.
The dehumidification mode can be easily set on the easy-to-clean control panel by means of membrane keys and digital display: A choice can be made between automatic hygrostat control with real-value humidity preselection, automatic mode with a preset humidity of 55 %, and permanent mode.
Gentle laundry drying with dehumidifiers
In addition to room dehumidification, a dehumidifier can be conveniently used for drying laundry - as a support or as a complete replacement for a conventional laundry dryer. The laundry drying function (or textile drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional outdoor air drying.
Dehumidifiers offer the advantage of gently drying clothes as they would in nature. Colors remain vibrant and clothes thus have a longer lifespan than with conventional tumble dryers, while consuming significantly less electricity.
In addition, sensitive materials such as wool, silk or synthetic fibers can also be dried without hesitation. In contrast to pure air drying, the laundry becomes much softer and more pleasant to wear on the skin.
Laundry drying is also possible with dehumidifiers without a laundry drying function. The target humidity value must then be set according to the desired residual moisture:
Cupboard dry: 46 % relative humidity.
Ironing damp: 58 % relative humidity
Dried: 65 % relative humidity
Propane (R290) as an environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers
Every year, synthetic refrigerants release several million tons of environmentally harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) into the air. Therefore, the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. By using propane (R290) as a refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to climate protection.
The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound and belongs to the hydrocarbons. Unlike synthetic refrigerants, environmentally friendly propane (R290) has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).
Additional plus for the environment: due to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant, thus additionally reducing your energy costs.
