Gas warning device and gas detector in one unit
The BG30 reliably detects natural gas, methane, ethane, propane, butane, acetone, alcohol, ammonia, petrol, LPG, turbine fuel, hydrogen sulphide, industrial solvents, paint thinners and other flammable gases.
Whether in the household, camping site or boat, in all places where flammable gas is stored or used, this gas detector is a must. Play it safe and regularly check your camping gas cartridges, liquid gas containers or gas soldering irons for leaks.
The BG30 is also a versatile measuring device for detecting gas leaks in pipes or fittings.
An acoustic alarm signals the intensity and origin of the escaping gas with increasing frequency and volume. An external headphone can be connected to the unit to avoid noise interference.
With 10 % LEL, the BG30 is more sensitive than the arithmetically required alarm threshold in many standards or regulations. LEL stands for lower explosion limit and defines the minimum gas concentration in the air at which an explosion is possible.
